We are seeking a qualified Assistant Early Childhood Educator or recently qualified Early Childhood Educator to assist with programme planning and as a teacher’s support. This position would suit a person with the desire to learn about implementing a unique preschool curriculum. This is a full time position, 40 hours a week. Approx $15 an hour (after probation period, pay increase); personal days; paid holidays. In September 2010 Nightingale will be changing to 33 hours a week – no reduction to salary. There is an opportunity for career advancement. In-house training, professional development and evaluation meetings assist the applicant into achieving a higher paid position. You will already have had some ‘on the floor’ teaching experience with preschool children and confident and secure in the knowledge that you are a person who is able to take on new challenges. You are a quick learner, creative, have leadership skills and you work well in a team. This is a full time position, 40 hours a week.
