Salary ranging from approx. $16 - $22 an hour

We are an independent Preschool and Junior Kindergarten school and are committed to achieving the best care and education for each child.

We are offering a unique job opportunity depending upon an applicant’s experience. We have two job options and as a result each applicant’s resume will be reviewed thoroughly.

Job option #1

Job offer to commence April/May 2010 or September 2010

  • Assistant ECE or ECE

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Early Childhood Educator or recently qualified Early Childhood Educator to assist with programme planning and as a teacher’s support. This position would suit a person with the desire to learn about implementing a unique preschool curriculum.

This is a full time position, 40 hours a week. Approx $15 an hour (after probation period, pay increase); personal days; paid holidays. In September 2010 Nightingale will be changing to 33 hours a week – no reduction to salary.

There is an opportunity for career advancement. In-house training, professional development and evaluation meetings assist the applicant into achieving a higher paid position.


Job option #2

Job offer to commence April/May 2010 or September 2010

  • Experienced Qualified Early Childhood Educator

or

  • Teacher with Bachelor of Education - wishing to teach preschoolers

or

  • Applicants with a TESOL qualification

You will already have had some ‘on the floor’ teaching experience with preschool children and confident and secure in the knowledge that you are a person who is able to take on new challenges. You are a quick learner, creative, have leadership skills and you work well in a team.

This is a full time position, 40 hours a week. Approx $16 an hour (after probation period, pay increase - $18/$20 depending upon experience); personal days; paid holidays. In September 2010 Nightingale will be changing to 33 hours a week – no reduction in salary.
