Nightingale Preschool and Junior Kindergarten has been open since January 2003 and is located in a character house on a quiet residential street.

It is conveniently situated near Oak Bay, and surrounding suburbs as well as the University of Victoria and downtown Victoria. The School has been designed specifically for children; low sinks and toilets, low coat hooks and child sized furniture.

The rooms have been painted in gentle, warm colours so that children can feel at home in their school environment.

The back garden is fully equipped with a climbing frame, sandbox, a large boat and numerous Little Tikes cars and trucks for the children to enjoy.

The garage has been converted into a small indoor gym area where the children are able to use the indoor gym equipment when the weather is unsuitable for outside activities.

The School has a fenced front and back garden. The garden has two fruit trees.
